Great Grey Owl

I am lucky to live in a place near the sea, where I can find stones with very strange shapes. The smooth and regular ones are rarer (I miss them a little) but at least I can have fun and create unique works like this great grey owl perched on a branch in the forest.

It is one of the most complex painted rocks I’ve ever made and kept me busy a whole week, without pauses. The result is surprisingly realistic and proportionate, thanks to the obsessive attention to every detail. What do you think about it? Leave your comment!
