The portrait of the sweet Birba, a dog who has been very much loved. Her expression in the reference photo was really beautiful, and I tried to capture it in the painting.

Fine details on the hair are certainly very important, but the focal point of the artwork is always the eyes of the pet. The look enhances the stone, makes it ‘alive’ and gives joy to those who miss these wonderful creatures.
