My latest painted rock of 2019 is the portrait of Sally, the beloved kitten of my brother Andrea. It was made on a flat pebble of about 4 inches and painted with great care and passion. I used a dimly lit image of Sally because I love to work on the contrast between light and darkness. The result is truly excellent, I think this is one of my favorite cat portraits ever.
