I have always been fascinated by the ocean and its creatures. In particular I love to paint whales on rocks when I find the right ones.

They are quite rare and I need to look for them carefully when I’m at the beach. I have to say that I was thrilled by the stone I found some days ago: it seemed to have a whale in my hands!

I worked hard for one week on this piece…it’s been a real challenge but I’m very proud about the result. The rock is painted on all sides and have a size of 8 inches. The base is polished so the artwork perfectly stands up.
